It’s another New Year’s Eve and and the fireworks are popping. It’s only 10:30pm.
For those of us with dogs bothered by loud popping noises this is one of the worst days of the year. In fact, the noise is worse than usual. I say to those who like to make this kind of noise: join the military and get deployed to a war zone and then you’ll get to hear these kinds of sounds all the time. I’m spending my New Years with one of my dogs shut up in the bedroom to help keep her calm and quiet. My other half is with our other dog keeping her calm.
