It’s that time of the month….for a haircut.Β Last month we only got a trim because we had an event to attend and didn’t want to look scalped. So, this time our hair is extra long and we’re looking like shaggy dogs. Do your magic, Chris!

We cycled to the Hawthorne Trail this morning and, on the way back, decided to check out some new construction happening in midtown Gainesville. I’m liking the changes to downtown and the surrounding area. I love the changes to main street and see downtown becoming more vibrant. It’s all good, Gainesville!

Peanut had her first….and we hope last….root canal. Yes, folks, even dogs can have a root canal. We had the option of that or extraction but the tooth was her top right canine and we wanted to save it if possible. What did she do to cause this? She tried to chew through a chain link fence to get to another dog – her arch enemy – Sydney. Good times, my friends, good times.
The picture is her soon after coming home. She was still coming out of the anesthesia and feeling poorly at the time. You’ll be happy to know that she’s her old self again today wanting to play ball.

We had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Baton Rouge, La and watch the Florida Women’s Basketball team play the LSU tigers. We lost the game, but the trip was still great! Here’s a good pic of Coach Butler and Coach Van Chancellor. Before each home game, Coach Chancellor tosses pieces of candy to the crowd. It was fun. Can’t wait for the next road trip!
Our neighbor provided us with tickets to a Gator game. We played and beat Appalachian State. We looked so good against them….just don’t understand how we got beat so bad by FSU the next week… π
